Best Torrent Downloader I have ever seen

I have a 2 Mbps broadband connection and was struggling to download torrents ( even with plenty of seeders beside) with my windows and bit torrent.

I’m really frustrated with torrents and started searching direct downloads ( but many things we need are not available thro’ direct download).

When I tried the same torrent files in my Ubuntu Desktop edition I can see a drastic raise in torrent speed shooting up from mere 20-22 KB/s to 222 and even reaching my highest of 250 KB/s :O..

I’m really confused what makes windows such a slow in torrent ( but i know the speed IDM does in windows :) )rather in Ubuntu and other linux .

If you wanna fastest direct link downloader ( like IDM in windows ) Then have a look at AXEL a fastest downloader .

but its still available only in command line version sorry for GUI suckers .Its gives me speed up to 272 KB/s( I cant imagine this with default Firefox DM) .
